My understanding is that Beacon House follows a similar curriculum to the UK.  There are numerous UK curriculum schools within a reasonable distance of your accommodation.  The closest would be the Winchester School in Jebel Ali.  You can search for other options by checking the area guide on Whichschooladvisor.com.  If you prefer Indian curriculum, Delhi Private School is also based in Jebel Ali or you may wish to consider one of the schools located in Al Qouz or Al Khail Road.  These are within 20-30 minutes of Discovery Gardens.

All the schools provide detailed explanations of the admission process on their websites.  Generally, you will need to submit birth certificate, passport copies, residence visa and Emirates ID,  schools reports where available and a transfer certificate, issued by your son’s current school and attested by the local education authority, Ministry of Education or similar, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UAE Consulate.  The transfer certificate is only valid for one month from the date of issue unless there are recognised holidays, and you should therefore not delay in making the applications.
