JSS International School vs Ambassador School
Hi, I am currently in my 10th grade in a school which follows the CBSE curriculum. The problem is, I want to study Humanities (Pol.Science, Sociology, Economics ,etc) instead of the traditional Science or Commerce subjects that Indian students generally study in grade 11-12, but every Indian CBSE school in Dubai either does not offer the Humanities subjects or allows only girls to study that. That’s why we decided to switch to a CISCE (ISCE/ISC) curriculum school. We had only 3 options, GEMS Modern Academy, JSS International School and Ambassador School. GEMS Modern Academy does not have any vacancies at the moment. That left us with JSS and Ambassador, though we already read the description of both the schools on the WSA website, we aren’t really clear on which one to choose, we would really appreciate it if you could help us out. The last date of admission is on the 7th of April.

I am really sorry that you are having to make this decision at such short notice. I really don’t feel that we can advise you on your decision. We would always urge anyone considering a change of school that they visit and find out as much information as possible for themselves. Often it is as much about what you see and feel at a school that determines your decision as what you read or here – in fact more so, as your own personal impression is so important. The fact that both schools were rated Good in the most recent round of inspections also does not provide an easy answer.
