Switching curriculum from National Curriculm of England to IGCSE/IB

Dear Advisor,

My 3 kids are studying in National Curriculum of England in year 4 and FS1 which they finish in July this year.

After that we move to Mumbai where the schools follow IGCSE/IB. In some schools it’s mixed curriculum and some are totally IB from year 1. My query is when they join schools iin India, which year will they go to … Year 5 and FS2 or will they have to repeat classes.
They are all March born ie 2009 and 2014.  They have eligibility criteria of 6+ in grade 1. Does that strict bearing on the admissions. And what happens when they move back to National Curriculum of England from IGCSE/IB… Do they repeat classes again. Thanks in advance.

Hi Alks,

I am afraid that you will need to confirm this with the schools you are considering.  We do not have details of the admission process in India.
