To answer the age question first, your daughter will be 4 turning 5 when she starts school and this is the correct age for KG1.  As far as your school choices are concerned, Congratulations!  You have been offered places at two of the most popular schools in Dubai.  DAA is rated Outstanding by the KHDA whilst UAS is rated Good – I suggest you check the KHDA reports for each school to find out why – http://www.khda.gov.ae/en/DSIB/Reports?isSearched=1.  If you have not already done so, I would suggest that you visit both schools to get your own personal impression.  Each school has an inherent ethos and “feel” which you will only appreciate if you visit them.  Lastly, I would consider which school is most practical for you since they are located at completely opposite ends of the city.  It is not so difficult in the early years, but consider which would be more convenient if you are having to collect your daughter from after-school activities or having to call into the school on a regular basis.  If you plan on using bus services, again, consider the journey time involved.  Good Luck.
