Change of curriculum
My child (23/05/2003) is studying in Grade 6 CBSE in India. Planning to move to Abudhabi and join British syllabus for Grade 7. She will be finishing her 6th in March (CBSE) but grade 7(British Syllabus) starts only in September. Has she to start her grade 7 here in India. Or is it possible for her to join British school in April(Abudhabi) and continue the same 6th grade in the new school.

Your daughter will need to start grade 7 in India and then move to the British curriculum in September. She would not be admitted to a British curriculum school at this point in the school year as transfer from a different curriculum is only possible at the start of the academic year. Please also be aware that it may be necessary for the new school in Abu Dhabi to obtain approval for your daughter to change to a British curriculum school – you should confirm this with the school to which you apply.
