FS 1 Admission 2015-16
Hi, I will be moving to Dubai from May 2015, and my daughter will be three April 10th this year.Wanted to know which schools with nurseries (UK curriculum preferred) I have as an option because I will be joining work soon. Or will the kid have to go to a school and transfer to a day care later in the day? Also what is the admission procedure for the schools there?

Since your daughter does not turn 3 until April, the earliest she can start school is September. Schools here generally do not have nurseries attached, so you will need to look for a nursery initially and apply to schools for FS1. You can find details of the schools on our website under Schools, Dubai, Primary.
I would advise you to start the application process as soon as possible. All the established schools will have already made offers for FS1 for September, so you will probably need to approach the newer schools. You can also find out about availability on our “latest availability page”.
GEMS and Raffles Schools do both operate nurseries and guarantee a place in one of their schools for FS2.
