FS1 in al safa school or FS2 in gems WSO?
My son will be 4 next September. I have 2 options : either he goes into FS1 in al safa private school or he joins FS2 in gems wellIngton SO. Note: he is currently doing FS1 in gems preschool . However we live in Tecom which is quiet far from scilicon oasis.

It seems that your son is probably young for his age group if he is deemed to be FS1 by Safa School. We generally feel that your decision should be advised by what you feel is best for him. If you feel that the journey to TECOM will be too tiring and that he will be happy in FS1 at a school closer to your home, there is unlikely to be any harm in having him repeat FS1. However, if you feel that he is likely to lose interest in school because he is not being sufficiently challenged and motivated, a move to FS 2 may be the better option even if this involves a longer journey.
