Hi Adeel,

Thanks for your message.  The grading structure of the UK curriculum is usually different to the Indian curriculum.  In the UK system, the structure is from FS1 (equivalent to pre-KG) to Year 13 (equivalent to Grade 12).   The cut off dates by birth are also different – so rather than 31st July, it is 31st December.  This is due to the academic year running from September to July.

Assuming that you plan to move your children in September 2018, they will remain in the same equivalent year group (so Year 6/Grade 5, Year 4/Grade 3 and Year 2/Grade 1) as they will not have completed the current grade.  This  means that your children will effectively lose a few months and finish school in July rather than March if they remain in the UK curriculum.  You will need to arrange for transfer certificates for all 3 children in order for them to be accepted into the equivalent year group in the UK curriculum.

In terms of schools,  please use the search function on WhichSchoolAdvisor.com to filter the results you need.  You can select by emirate, curriculum and budget.  These are options for Sharjah – https://whichschooladvisor.com/uae/school-search?city%5B%5D=7&school_type=&curriculum=102&availability=&price_low=0&price_high=50&view=list.  We have limited information about Ajman, but would suggest you consider Ajman Academy, Avalon Heights, Bloomington Academy, British International School and Frontline International School.  We can only vouch for Ajman Academy which we have visited and reviewed.
