Admission for KG1
Sir,
Little bit confused again after going through the new law requires kg1 students to be 4 at the end of the year dec 31.
can u pls guide whether i can enroll for my son admission for 2016 -17. My son was born on September 2012 .

Assuming you are applying for a place in September 2016, your son will already be 3 years and 11 months at the start of the academic year and 4 years + by 31st December. Therefore your son meets the age criteria for enrollment for September 2016. If you are seeking a place in an Indian curriculum school where the cut off date is 31st July, then your son would be too young to enroll in April 2016 and you would need to wait until April 2017.

the below is the age criteria according to my knowledge –

The age criteria mentioned above will be applied to all private schools in Dubai starting the academic year 2014-2015 (For September curriculums) and 2015-2016 (For April curriculums).
