Admission to KG-1 for Academic year beginning September2016
My daughter will turn 3 Years & 10 months on 11 th Sept 2016. She has already finished her Nursery in India. I wanted to check if she will be eligible for admission to KG -1 for the September session. When do I need to start the admission process? Can you suggest some schools for the same.

Schools here only have one intake of students per year which was in April in the Indian curriculum. As your daughter was not 4 years old on 31st July, she is not eligible for the current academic year. You will need to enrol her for next April in Dubai. The timings for this vary, but many schools start the application process in October and are open only for a short period. Some of the newer schools with more capacity are more flexible on when they start to accept applications and how long they are open for.
