What would be the stand of KHDA for children born on 1st August?
My daughter is born on 1st August, 2013. Accordingly, she would complete four years on 1st August, 2017. I would like to enroll her in the school having Indian curriculum. As per KHDA age criteria , a student is required to complete four years as on 31st July.
My question is whether KHDA would accept my daughter for KG1 in the academic year 2017-18 or she will have to miss an entire year just because of one day? Are there any exceptions to the KHDA age criteria ?

Our understanding is that the KHDA has been quite strict in adhering to the age criterion. Your best option is to find a school that is willing to assist you and then approach them jointly for approval.
